" My installation work stands suspended between architectural and bodily space, creating a strong physical relationship with the visitor. The use of gigantic shapes, bright colors, textures, perishable and stretchable materials, and light as a tangible element, invite the viewer to experience rather than just observe. My work combines narrative, image, form, and sound. My goal is to transport the viewer into a sensorial reality that may be static or mobile, permanent or impermanent, flat or sculptural, and linear or cyclical.
In my photographic work I seek abstraction of forms. I observe and document large bodies of water which represent a celebration of life. Shadows and light phenomena convey narratives of cyclical states of the human condition."
