My work exists in a perceptual and intimate space, at the intersection of co-creation and destruction; perdurability and impermanence, the present and the time to come, the static and the variable. Form, colors and light influence my practice; people and their accountability inform the content.
My images and spaces emerge from an observation of nature and objects; the materials used contribute to the participatory quality and add to my particular concept. I use papers, sand, earth, transparent and spandex cotton fabrics, video projections and apps. Representation and abstraction coexist in my work; metaphors explore topics of conservation, accountability, gender and global interrelations.
